Drive belts are integral to many mechanical systems as a conduit for transmitting power between machine parts. Drive pelts are my new steering wheel covers made from recycled roadkill.


Typically found in machinery, most notably motor vehicles, they connect the engine's crankshaft to various peripherals such as the alternator, power steering pump, air conditioning compressor, and more. And yes I have trouble saying peripherals, does that make me a monster? No. Eating peanut butter and jelly on raisin toast makes me a monster according to my ex.

Flat drive belts are crucial in the mechanical world, particularly in power transmission systems. They are also crucial in Wayne's world for that annoying scene where they’re driving and singing that Queen song. Not my favorite. These belts, typically rubber or leather, connect two or more rotating shafts, while these eyes cry every night for you, and these arms long to hold you again.
